OMAR BALOCH

Childhood friends of Devon's, Heath Saffer and Omar Baloch, set out to make a difference in the world of teen mental health. And boy what a difference they made! These two young men battled everything Mother Nature could

muster up during their more than 4300 mile trek

from Washington State, across Wyoming and the

midwest, through Nashville and up the east coast,

ending in Bethany Beach, Delaware. Their journey

began on April 15th and concluded on July 02, 2021.

During those 2 1/2 months, we at home fretted

about their safety and wondered what impact they

would make.

Never in a million years did we dare to dream

that they would garner national attention and widespread awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. But with several television interviews, local public appearances and so much more, they met hundreds of folks along the way... and inspired thousands with their sheer grit, determination, bravery and their clear message.

All funds raised by Cycle4Life will be used to support the Our Minds Matter Suicide Prevention program in high schools and middle schools throughout Montgomery County, Maryland and beyond.

Heath & Omar, it is with profound gratitude that

we name you lifelong Devon's Angels.
